Our Story

ShredFin is a bold performance fishing apparel brand built for hardcore anglers who live for the thrill of the catch.

Established in 2015 in Bossier City, Louisiana. We are a veteran-owned and family-operated business built from the ground up on integrity, hard work, and taking care of customers the right way.

Our founder, Cassidy Caldwell, is a Tennessee native and proud United States Air Force veteran with 22 years of honorable service. His passion and dedication for fishing inspired the creation of ShredFin.

Humble Beginnings

Frustrated with bland, overpriced fishing apparel, Cass set out to create something bold, different, and built for anglers who refuse to blend in.

But ShredFin didn't launch with a warehouse full of inventory or outside investors. It started with just 48 hats and 72 fishing shirts.

When those sold, every dollar went right back into the business. Cass replaced what sold, added a little more inventory, and slowly grew one order at a time. Then did it again. And again.

For years, that cycle never changed. Every purchase helped fund the next design,  and the next step forward. The ShredFin you see today exists because thousands of anglers believed in a small family-owned business and chose to support it. 

Today, ShredFin has shipped tens of thousands of products to anglers across the country and internationally, but we'll never forget where it all started.

That same mindset still drives everything we do. We continue investing back into better products, new designs, and an even better customer experience, because we know every order represents someone trusting us with their hard-earned money.
